What Type Of Information Do We Collect From You 

The personal information we collect might include your name, address, email address, IP address, and information regarding what pages are accessed and when. We do not collect information about payment methods from you, which are held by our third party payment processors.  At present, all payments are received via PayPal and Stripe who specialise in secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions.   We also accept bank transfers for an individualsession, outside of this website.


 

How Is Your Information Used

Send you confirmation of bookings that you have made

Carry out services that you have contracted to purchase from us

Send you communications which you have requested and that may be of interest to you such as our newsletters or details of upcoming events.

We collect all payments for sessions PayPal, Stripe who have their own secure online payment pages, who specialise in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions. If you have any questions regarding secure transactions, please contact us.  We also collect payments by way of cash, or bank transfer, which are not processed through this website.  We do not store any payment information that is collected in this way.

 

 

Your Data

You have a choice about whether or not you wish to receive information from us.  We only hold data from individuals who have previously come to us for treatment sessions, or those that have visited our website and positively opted in to receive communications from us.   We will not use or process your data for any other purpose unless required to do so by law, nor will your data be kept for longer than is necessary. 

 

We will not contact you for marketing purposes by email, phone or text message unless you have given your prior consent. We will not contact you for marketing purposes by post if you have indicated that you do not wish to be contacted. You have the right to ask for a copy of the information that The DTO System holds about you, for which we have an administrative charge of £10 OR for which there is no administrative charge unless repeated or vexatious requests are made, in which case charges will apply.

 

We do not hold personal information other than your name, address, email address, telephone number, patient records and website details. If you have given us personal information, we take steps to ensure that it’s treated securely, to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of your information.  

 

Non-sensitive details (such as your your email address) are transmitted normally over the Internet, and this can never be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Any information you transmit to us, is done at your own risk, although we always make our best efforts to ensure that your information is secure.

This website is owned and operated by Jonathan Shaw, who also acts as the Data Protection Officer for Decoding Pain.
